Our client is seeking an Assessments Officer at the APS4 or 5 level (depending on experience), to begin work as soon as possible. This role will be offered on a contract until 29 March 2019, with the possibility of extension.
Candidates with assessment experience will be highly regarded, as will those with Royal Commission experience, and those with experience navigating legislation and drafting recommendations for decision-makers.
The successful candidate will have keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills and an ability to conduct assessments and identify serious and complex matters. The successful candidate must also be comfortable conducting high level investigations of complaints. The successful candidate will also have strong written communication skills with experience in preparing briefing notes, reports and other forms of correspondence. Legal qualifications and experience are not essential but will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will work in a high performing team with a great group of people managed by an efficient and caring director.
