Manager, Bill Implementation (FPP) | EL1
We are pleased to present a mix of non-ongoing and contract opportunities at the APS6 and EL1 level for legally qualified policy professionals to join an expanded Section in the Compliance Division of a Commonwealth Government Department.
There are seven (7) positions supporting the implementation of a bill. One team will support the implementation of the fit and proper persons provisions, whilst the other team will support the implementation of provisions relating to sanctions and enforcement tools.
The successful candidates will possess strong policy development experience and a legal background, noting that these are not legal practice roles.
Two (2) of the positions are at the EL1 level and are offered on the basis of non-ongoing contracts, initially for 12 months, with the possibility of extension for another 24 months in 12 month increments. The other positions are all at the APS6 level and are offered on the basis of labour-hire contracts.
The successful candidates will be very strong team players and have a genuine willingness to contribute to a collegiate culture. Attitude counts, and the successful candidates will be well supported by a committed leadership.
The salary range is between $80,000 and $110,000 plus 15.4% super in the case of the EL1 positions, and 9.5% super in the case of the APS6 positions. Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.
